Calling All Dog Lovers: Sleepover Rover Announces 2014 Ruff-Love Challenge
Sleepover Rover, Inc., the company that founded in-home dog boarding in 2004, is throwing down the gauntlet to all dog owners to join them in the epic 2014 Ruff-Love Challenge.
General Manager Maggie Brown says, "Forget about those useless New Year's Resolutions to give up drinking, smoking, or vowing to lose weight. No! No! Make your 2014 New Year's Resolution ALL ABOUT your DOG - the one who loves you more than anyone; the one who's whole world is YOU."
Week 1 of Ruff-Love is "Train Your Human" week. A very talented dog will coach you from a dog's perspective. For example when we tell our dogs, "DOWN!" do we want our dog to lie down, to get off the couch, or maybe to stop jumping on people. Talk about confusing!
Over the next seven weeks you'll face unique and fun tasks - all designed to create healthier, happier dogs AND people. For example, how would you like to administer your dog a complete IQ test? The rest of the challenges are equally fun and different.
Those with grit enough to complete the full 8-week challenge will earn a very special Ruff-Love Award Certificate suitable for framing. This will come to you on behalf of your very grateful dog.
And to get the ball rolling, Tina Myers, co-founder of Sleepover Rover, sends a shout-out to Ellen Degeneres: "I dog-gone, double-dog DARE you to complete this challenge, Ellen! 'Eat like a dog' for one week.
