By:

BATH TIME, a darkly comic one-man show written and performed by Ruaraidh Murray and directed by Tim Stark, will play the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at the Gilded Balloon from 31 July - 26 August 2013, with 3 preview performances at the Etcetera Theatre in London on Mon 22 - Wed 24 July.

Tidy sexual health clinic nurses vs Maggie Thatcher, microchip robbers vs drug runners, hand jobs vs Xmas trees...

Gangland Edinburgh, 1996. Three childhood friends Spike, Joe Joe and Billy take part in a high scale robbery that goes wrong. Who can trust who and whose turn is it for Bath Time...?

Ruaraidh enjoyed huge success with his first one man show, Big Sean, Mikey and Me, at the Gilded Balloon at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2012, where it enjoyed a sell-out run and five star reviews. The Gilded Balloon then co-produced a Scottish tour in February 2013 and Ruaraidh is currently adapting the stage script of the show both for radio and film, with director Paul Robinson.

"Another slice of true Edinburgh class" Irvine Welsh

Ruaraidh was born and raised in Stockbridge in Edinburgh and went on to study acting at The Oxford School of Drama. He was a member of the Traverse Theatre and Royal Court Theatre young writers groups and his theatre acting credits include the 10 year stage revival of Irvine Welsh's Trainspotting (No.1 UK Tour), Tom Kempinski's High Jumpers (New End Theatre) and Jimmy Barr's Disintegration and We're All Doing Time (Union Theatre).

Ruaraidh's film and TV acting credits include: Richard Jobson's feature film New Town Killers, Irvine Welsh's film The Bedroom Secrets of the Master Chefs, BBC's Sea of Souls, Dalziel and Pascoe, ITV's Lenny Blue, C4's Sword of Honour, and most recently, Bob Servant Independent, the new BBC4 comedy starring Brian Cox.

Director Tim Stark is a winner of the John S. Cohen Directors Bursary at The National Theatre Studio and English Touring Theatre, a founding member of B29 Productions and Artistic Associate of ANGLE Theatre.
