The Out North Contemporary Art House presents Lunafest, a series of short films for women, by women, March 4-12, 2011 at Out North Theatre.

Filled with stories of reflection and whimsy, hope and humor, grace and perseverance, Lunafest films are renowned for celebrating the talents and stories of women.

Lunafest's films have won industry awards and audience accolades, and the films selected for 2010-11 Lunafest season share this brilliance. From quirky animation to touching documentaries, the 10 selected films are incredibly diverse in both style and subject matter, united by a common thread of exceptional storytelling by, for, about women.

Showtimes run Friday, March 04, 2011 to Saturday, March 12, 2011, Fridays at 7pm; Saturdays at 5pm & 7pm. Babies are free when seated on adult lap. Recommended for children ages 13 and up. Tickets are $10 at the door, $7.50 students/60+/military with ID*
