Indulge in an intimate storytelling experience through song. Gaining a following from her distinctive voice and poignant lyrics, Diana Scalzi, showcases the evolution of her folk-flamenco musical style for only two nights.

Fresh out of winning the 2014 Scala Festival of Original Music for her song titled "More of Life to Find", Diana will perform the song together with a special performance by Ella Fenwick of "Cirque de Soleil". Jazz pianist Georgie Aue` will also feature covering the Roberta Flack classic "Killing me softly".

The show will feature tracks from Diana's new EP "Like a bird" recorded at Chapel Lane Studios. One of the tracks includes "Restless Sea" which has been re-recorded after originally winning her 7th place in 2006 in the Australian Songwriters Association National Songwriting Contest in the popular ballad category.

Diana's songwriting has been recognised recently by John Brewster "The Angels". Meaningful lyrics that tell universal stories and the sudden progression from the major chord to minor chord were very much techniques pioneered by "The Beatles".

With a vocal quirkiness reminiscent to the 80's icon: Kate Bush, this will be "A Night with a Singer/Songwriter's" debut show. Not to be missed.

Tickets are on Sale for $20 through Fringe Tix, as well as her EP featuring five tracks which will be on sale on the night for $10. For information visit http://www.adelaidefringe.com.au/fringetix/a-night-with-a-singersongwriter.
