'See How I Beautiful I Am' Featured in Fringe Encore at SoHo Playhouse

By:

FRINGE ENCORE SERIES will present SEE HOW BEAUTIFUL I AM: the return of Jackie Susann for five additional performances, September 11-16 at the SoHo Playhouse. SEE HOW BEAUTIFUL I AM, starring American West End actress DEBORA WESTON, the winner of   the 2008 Fringe Excellence Award for “Outstanding Actor” & directed by PAUL DUBOIS, comes to New York, following a highly acclaimed run in this past summer’s New York International Fringe Festival – Fringe NYC.

SEE HOW BEAUTIFUL I AM: the return of Jackie Susann is the sex, drugs & showbiz tale of Jacqueline Susann, author of the original trashy ‘blockbuster’ Valley of the Dolls; a wise-cracking, one-person comedy about the Queen of the 60’s; her rollercoaster ride to stardom, her sizzling books, her revolving bedroom door open to men, women & even her poodle, Josephine. She couldn’t act & she couldn’t sing, but her lack of talent did nothing to deter her ambition to become the biggest star of all!

DEBORA WESTON has appeared in numerous West End productions opposite major stars, including Up For Grabs (Madonna), The Seven Year Itch (Daryl Hannah ), Ben Elton’s Popcorn, Chapter Two (Sharon Gless) & Serious Money. Her film work includes Patriot Games, Loch Ness, Kafka, Nightbreed, Possession, Blessed, Thunderbirds & Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.  PAUL DUBOIS is the founding Artistic Director of Off the Cuff Theatre Company. PAUL MINX’s Walking on Water, most recently seen in London, starred screen legend Susannah York. He is a graduate of Yale School of Drama.

SEE HOW BEAUTIFUL I AM will play Thurs, Fri, and Sunday 9/11, 9/12 and 9/14 at 5:30 PM and Monday and Tuesday 9/15 and 9/16 at 8PM at the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street).
