The Pittsburgh CLO Cabaret Announces Season

Pittsburgh CLO is proud to announce three new shows that will take the stage at the CLO Cabaret. The 2008-2009 CLO Cabaret Season contains record breaking shows including Shear Madness (May 15 - Sept. 28), which holds the record for the longest running play in American history, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (Oct. 9, 2008 - Feb. 1, 2009) which is Off-Broadway's longest running show and My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra (Feb. 12 - May 10, 2009) which celebrates the music of an American Legend.

Subscribers can choose from two custom packages that guarantee unforgettable nights of entertainment, complete with memorable music, great food, drinks and a lot of laughter.  In addition to Shear Madness, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change and My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra, the CLO Cabaret Subscription Series will also include the Cabaret's current hit The Big Bang which will continue through April 27.

"Shear Madness which runs May 15 - September 28 is about an ordinary day at the Shear Madness hair salon, the regulars stop by for their weekly set and style, a little gossip or an old-fashioned shave.  But when a scissor job gone bad leaves the upstairs landlady dead as a doornail, the crazy company of customers and stylists below find themselves locked in and fingered for murder. Full of mischief and mayhem, constantly snappy and sassy and bursting with up-to-the-minute laughs, Shear Madness brings a wacky cast of characters to life before your eyes," state press notes.

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change runs October 9, 2008 - February 1, 2009 and a press release states: "Everything you've secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws but were afraid to admit!  This modern musical comedy is a whirlwind tour of the trials and triumphs of life and love set to a hilarious score that includes "He Called Me," "Cantata for a First Date," "Always a Bridesmaid" and "Why? 'Cause I'm a Guy." 

My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra runs February 12 - May 10, 2009. "Spend the evening with the soundtrack to the greatest music of the 20th Century.  My Way is the must-see musical that celebrates the mystique of Frank Sinatra and the music he made famous.  Audiences and critics agree - this easy-going comedy boasts the powerful music, superb arrangements and the style that made 'Ol' Blue Eyes' an American music legend," says the press release.
