A re-conceived version of the Rodgers & Hart 1940 classic Pal Joey is now running at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre. After an enthusiastically received concert reading at Pasadena's prestigious Boston Court Theatre last year, Director Peter Schneider was encouraged by the esteemed Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization to move forward with a fully realized production. The Idea Place presents an ambitious new project: BUSCH FEST, featuring four early plays by drag theater legend Charles Busch running in repertory Friday and Saturday nights through February 20, 2010 at Mary's Attic, 5400 N. Clark St. Program A includes Vampire Lesbians of Sodom and Sleeping Beauty of Coma. Program B includes Theodora She-Bitch of Byzantium and Pardon My Inquisition or Kiss The Blood Off My Castanets.

The Joffrey Ballet under the direction of Ashley C. Wheater, Artistic Director, presents 'Cinderella'. Choreography by Sir Frederick Ashton. Music by Serge Prokofiev. 'Cinderella' will be performed from January 28 to 31, 2010 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.
