Kill the One-Eyed Man! Photos - Off-Broadway

For folks of “a certain age” (which I am not telling if I do or do not fall into that category), prolific songwriter and performing artist Carole King provided what could be the official soundtrack to their adolescence.  For those who have not quite crossed that age threshold, you would be surprised how well her music has endured and firmly taken its place in the American songbook, speaking to multiple generations with songs of hope, love and all that comes after.

Sacred Fools Theater Company is launching its 23rd season with the World Premiere of the musical DEADLY by Vanessa Claire Stewart with Music by Ryan Thomas Johnson and directed by Jaime Robledo. Taking place in 1893, a time of hope and optimism as the World's Fair turns the globe's eyes toward Chicago and the cultural explosion of art and technology on display. But it is also a time when a demon lurks beneath, taking advantage of the adventuresome spirit of modern-thinking and very independent women. It just wouldn't do to forget who they were.

Yes, A CHRISTMAS STORY is again lighting up the stage at the Cleveland Play House. It's a new production, which incites new comments, but the history and my unexpected involvement in the tale is still the same!

The El Segundo Playhouse continues its inaugural season presenting "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Christopher Sergel from May 10 through May 20, 2012 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00pm with Sunday matinees at 2:00pm. It's the summer of 1929, and Myra Tolliver, a divorced woman, is struggling to raise her teenage son in the small town of Harrison, Texas. It's not been easy for her, but she's managed to get by. But now, everything around her is starting to change, in Horton Foote's Talking Pictures, beginning its run at Stage West on Thursday, March 10, as part of the area-wide Foote Festival.
