On the trailblazing March 2nd episode of ABC Family's hit critically-acclaimed drama series THE FOSTERS, viewers witnessed a pair of 13-year-old best friends explore one of the most time-honored, sometimes awkward rituals of typical adolescence: declaring their attraction for one another with a kiss. The only big difference this time around? The two pals at the center of this blooming romance are both male: Jude (stirringly portrayed by Hayden Byerly) and Connor (played by Gavin Macintosh). Prior to the airing of the history-making episode, BroadwayWorld contributing editor Michael L. Quintos posed a few questions to the young actor about his role, his life on set, and the significance of his character's existence in today's modern television landscape.

As it was just announced last night, Lena Hall has won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical for her role as 'Yitzhak' in Broadway's Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Previews begin tomorrow night, Saturday, March 8, for the return to Broadway of Tony Award-winner and two-time Academy Award-winner Denzel Washington, starring as Walter Lee Younger in Lorraine Hansberry's A RAISIN IN THE SUN. This new production begins previews nearly 55 years to the day that A RAISIN IN THE SUN had its Broadway premiere (March 11, 1959) at the same theatre, the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street). Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Machinal, starring Rebecca Hall, written by Sophie Treadwell and directed by Lyndsey Turner, began previews on December 20, 2013 ahead of an official opening on January 16, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway.
