THE PRESIDENT: Good evening, everybody. Please have a seat. Tonight we continue one of my favorite traditions here at the White House by celebrating the music that's at the heart of the American story. And as we come to the end of Black History Month, I can't think of a better way to do it than by honoring the legendary sound of Motown. (Applause.)

The 50th anniversary of the Philles Records label (1961-2011) has arrived. The long-range campaign promise announced in 2009 by Legacy Recordings and EMI Music Publishing, to dig deep into the rich catalog of Phil Spector's 'Wall Of Sound' on Philles, moves ahead with four newly-compiled albums. The quartet of titles will be available at all physical and digital retail outlets starting February 22nd through Phil Spector Records/ Legacy, a division of SONY MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT.

Rochelle Slovin, Director of Museum of the Moving Image, today announced further details of the events and programs that will celebrate the grand re-opening of America's only museum dedicated to film, TV and digital media in all their forms. Transformed through a $67 million project, the Museum will open to the public on January 15, 2011, having doubled in size (from 50,000 to 97,700 square feet) and been given striking new physical expression by architect Thomas Leeser.

Baz Bamigboye reports in the U.K. Daily Mail today that Estelle Parsons will join Jonathan Groff and Simon Russell Beale in the West End production of DEATHTRAP this fall. The role of the 'eccentric Dutch psychic' was orginally to be played by Anna Massey, however she recently withdrew from the project for personal reasons.

The one and only Diana Ross will be making summer nights red hot with her 'MORE TODAY THAN YESTERDAY' tour. The legendary icon will perform her greatest hits in this spectacular live show at the Fabulous Fox Theatre Sunday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. Ms. Ross will be pulling out all the stops with breathtaking costumes and stage designs, along with a live string and horn section.
