Queens Theatre in the Park (QTP) and Bristol Riverside Theatre, in association with Neil Berg and Adam Friedson, will present a new production of the award-winning musical revue Closer Than Ever directed by Richard Malty. Jr. and starring original cast members Sally Mayes and Lynne Wintersteller along with Broadway alums George Dvorksy and Sal Vivinio from April 16-25 (Wednesday and Thursday at 2PM; Friday and Saturday at 8pm; Saturday at 2pm; and Sunday at 3pm) in the Claire Shulman Playhouse Main Stage Theatre at Queens Theatre in the Park, Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Flushing, NY.

As previously reported, Michael Feinstein and Dame Edna have decided to collaborate on their upcoming show efforts and will jointly star in All About Me. The New York Times has reported today that All About Me shall run at the Golden Theater. Previews will begin on February 19 with an official opening night of March 18.

Accidental Repertory Theater Opens Season with BRECHT ON BRECHT, 10/29

John Strasberg, founder and Artistic Director of the Accidental Repertory Theater, has announced that the company will present as its first public production, the international classic 'BRECHT ON BRECHT,' adapted and translated by George Tabori, and directed by Mr. Strasberg. Ross Patterson will serve as Musical Director for the production. Performances of 'BRECHT ON BRECHT' will begin on Thursday, October 29, and the official opening night will be Sunday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m. Accidental Repertory Theater is located at 555 Eighth Avenue, Suite 403 (between 37th and 38th Streets). The run will continue for four weeks through Saturday, November 21.

Tharon Musser was universally considered the 'Dean of American Lighting Designers'. She graduated from Berea College in 1946 and attended Yale University before moving to New York City to begin her career. Her first Broadway lighting work was Jose Quintero's staging of Eugene O'Neill's Long Days Journey into Night (1956) at the original Helen Hayes Theatre.
