AFTER THE REVOLUTION Begins Previews at Playwrights Horizons, 10/21

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) will begin previews for AFTER TE REVOLUTION on Thursday, October 21 at 7:30 PM. With an Opening Night set for November 10, the limited engagement will play through Sunday, November 28 at Playwrights Horizons' Peter Jay Sharp Theater (416 West 42nd Street). AFTER THE REVOLUTION will be the second production of the theater company's 40th Anniversary Season.

This fall, The Public Theater (Oskar Eustis, Artistic Director; Andrew D. Hamingson, Executive Director) will launch The Public Forum, an exciting new series of lectures, debates and conversations that showcase leading voices in the arts, politics and the media. Curated by Jeremy McCarter, a senior writer at Newsweek, Public Forum events are open to the general public. Tickets for the inaugural event can be purchased for $25 beginning Tuesday, October 5. Northern Stage Closes the Curtain on GREATER TUNA, 5/2

Mel Gussow, in his New York Times review of 'On the Verge...' wrote, 'Blending Tom Stoppard's limber linguistics with the historic overview of a Thornton Wilder, Mr. Overmyer takes his audience on a mirthful safari that leads from darkest Africa to Terra Incognita, spinning into time travel.'
