TRUE LOVE LIES Opens at Atlanta's Horizon Theatre, 5/21

The national premiere of TRUE LOVE LIES will take the stage beginning May 21st at Atlanta's Horizon Theatre. The production will run through June 20th.

Michael Arden and Katherine Kingsley to Star in London Revival of ASPECTS OF LOVE

Tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow, Tuesday 18 May at 12 noon, for the first major London revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber, Don Black and Charles Hart's Aspects of Love, directed by Trevor Nunn at the Menier Chocolate Factory. Aspects of Love previews from 07 July with press night on 15 July and is running until 26 September. Designs are by David Farley with choreography by Lynne Page, lighting by Paul Pyant, musical supervision by Caroline Humphris, orchestrations by David Cullen and sound by Gareth Owen. Trevor Nunn previously directed the world premiere of Aspects of Love and returns to the piece to direct this new intimate version.

American Heartland Theatre presents an encore of the off-Broadway hit, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. Heralded as 'The most entertaining show on or off Broadway!' by Gannett Newspapers, when the off-Broadway run of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change closed in the summer of 2008, it had played 5,003 performances and 20 previews, an astonishingly long run by any measure, but downright historic for an off-Broadway musical (and second only to the run of The Fantasticks). Its 12-year run is a true testament to the enduring charm, wit, and wonder of this musical. The New York Times has confirmed that LOVE NEVER DIES will now aim for a spring opening on Broadway due to Andrew Lloyd Webber's health problems. LOVE NEVER DIES was scheduled to open on Broadway on November 11, 2010. Reportedly, Webber is experiencing 'post-operative problems' from his recent treatment for prostate cancer, a rep for the production told the New York Times today. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, speculation of a delay began weeks ago following the tally of mixed reviews for the production, which opened at the Adelphi Theatre in the West End on March 9.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the cast album for LOVE NEVER DIES premiered on the UK National charts at Number 10, the production announced today. Of those international markets where the album has been released it has also charted well, such as in Greece (Number 1), Taiwan (Number 14), New Zealand (Number 8) and Denmark (Number 15). Today, Billboard reports that the LOVE NEVER DIES album is the Number 1 selling cast album of the week, beating out staples Wicked and Jersey Boys in the top spot.
