McAninch Arts Center, located at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of College of DuPage (COD), presents the 2018 Lakeside Pavilion Free Outdoor Summer Series. Programming runs July 12-Aug.10 and includes a Thursday evening Family Movie Series, the Thursday evening WDCB Live Jazz Concert Series and a Friday evening Pop Music Series. The American Sephardi Federation's NY Sephardic Jewish Film Festival showcases contemporary voices steeped in the history, traditions, and rich mosaic culture of Greater Sephardic communities. The Epstein Theatre welcomed Pawn Stars UK star Mark Manning to the venue today who has generously donated significant war time artefacts which will be on display at the Hanover Street venue for a limited time this week.

War is hell and, as highlighted in Last of the Boys, its aftermath is often worse. Kudos to Sean Derry and his cast for creating a compelling evening of theater. This is must see theater for anyone interested in fine acting and a more real than life picture of the outcomes of combative and emotional wars on human beings.

Today marks Charlie Daniels 80th birthday.  To celebrate the occasion,  Indian Ranch  announced that the Charlie Daniels Band will return to Webster, MA today, September 9 at 2:00 P.M.
