Now in its 16th year, Festival Latino returns to downtown Columbus' Genoa Park on Saturday, August 13, and Sunday, August 14. Produced by CAPA, the festival will offer a variety of local and national Latin-American music acts including Saturday night headliner, 24 Horas, and Sunday night headliner, Tito Rojas with the Sammy DeLeón Orchestra. Led by newly appointed music director Jean-Marie Zeitouni, the Columbus Symphony will feature renowned violinist Charles Wetherbee in the 'Wetherbee Plays Mendelssohn' program at the Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.) on Saturday, November 6, at 8pm, and Sunday, November 7, at 3pm. The program will include Haydn's Overture to L'isola disabitata, Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E Minor, and Brahms' Symphony No. 1.

Hamingson, Executive Director) will launch The Public Forum, an exciting new series of lectures, debates and conversations that showcase leading voices in the arts, politics and the media. Curated by Jeremy McCarter, a senior writer at Newsweek, Public Forum events are open to the general public. Tickets for the inaugural event can be purchased for $25 beginning Tuesday, October 5. Member tickets are on sale Tuesday, September 28.
