The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey announced the casting of Lisa Harrow as Queen Eleanor in The Lion in Winter by James Goldman running on the Theatre's Main Stage from October 20 through November 14. Company member Laila Robins was originally slated to portray the role of Eleanor, but had to withdraw due to a scheduling conflict. The casting of Ms. Harrow is an exciting opportunity for Shakespeare Theatre audiences to be introduced to the work of this remarkable actress. Internationally renowned actress Rosemary Harris stars in this tour-de-force by award-winning French author and playwright Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt. Helmed by esteemed director Frank Dunlop, this mesmerizing adaptation of Schmitt's Oscar et la dame rose is sure to touch audiences both young and old. In Oscar and the Pink Lady, Tony? and Emmy? award-winner Harris tackles an array of memorable characters, among them Oscar, a ten-year-old patient in the cancer ward of a hospital.
