Show Description:

David Hyde Pierce heads the cast in this rollicking salute to love's possibilities, both on stage and off. Successful playwright Stephen Gaye (Pierce) is about to abandon his latest script, when his young secretary offers him new inspiration. With her as his muse, he stages the show on Broadway, only to learn, to his dismay, that the show's young leading man is being inspired by her too. In this fresh look at Samson Raphaelsons brilliantly clever comedy, the Tony Award-winning actor of Curtains and Monty Pythons Spamalot returns to MTC under the direction of Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan (MTCs Proof and Rabbit Hole).

Review - 10 Things to Do Before I Die & Accent on Youth
by Michael Dale - May 29, 2009
"Oh, I get it. That one's Blanche and that one's Stella."
"No, wait that one's Blanche and that one's... Maggie The cat?
"Hold on... I think they're both Blanche."
These are some of the random thoughts that whizzed through my head while trying to see through the clutter of Zakiyyah Alexander's 10 Things to Do Before I Die, a game effort but a frustratingly unfocused piece receiving a well-acted premiere production via Second Stage Theatre Uptown. (more...)
