Today, December 29, Charmin teamed up with non-profit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS to present "Bathrooms over Broadway," the first-ever Broadway show in a bathroom. The 10-15 minute "cheeky" musical production took place, free-of-charge, before a live audience at the Charmin Restrooms featuring the theatrics of several well-known Broadway stars, including "Shrek the Musical's" Christopher Sieber. Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS presented the 21st Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION over a two day event yesterday, December 7 and today, December 8 at the Palace Theatre on Broadway. The cast and crew of SHREK THE MUSICAL®, the Tony Award®-winning production, celebrated the show's one year anniversary on Broadway with a reception on stage at the Broadway Theatre on Sunday, November 8th after the matinee performance. Cupcakes were provided to the cast by CRUMBS Bake Shop. The production also said goodbye to original "SHREK" star Brian d'Arcy James who played his final performance in the title role yesterday as well. (more...)
