Producers Jeffrey Richards and John N. Hart Jr., in association with the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), have announced that the box office will open on Thursday, August 8th for the 17-week limited engagement of the critically-acclaimed revival of The Glass Menagerie at the Booth Theatre (222 W 45th Street) with performances beginning Thursday, September 5, 2013, and an opening night set for Thursday, September 26th. The production will star multiple Tony and Emmy Award-winner Cherry Jones as Amanda Wingfield, film and stage star Zachary Quinto as Tom, two-time Tony-nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger as Laura, and Brian J. Smith as Jim, the Gentleman Caller.

In its 17th (and final) season, the BMCC Tribeca PAC's Artists-in-Residence (AIR) hallmark program enables four to eight emerging and established artists-writers, dancers, and composers-to create and develop new work over the course of one year. The artists have been chosen by a panel of established performing arts professionals from some of the city's highest regarded organizations such as LaMama, Here ARTS, Abrams Arts Center, The New York State Council on the Arts, River to River, and Dance New Amsterdam. After 15 years Horse Trade Theater Group is sad to announce that they will no longer be operating out of The Red Room, a 32-seat theater located on the third floor of 85 East 4th Street. The landlord has decided to repurpose the space, and it will no longer be a performing arts venue. Horse Trade will be searching for a new third venue, and in the meantime will continue to operate out of The Kraine Theater at 85 East 4th Street and UNDER St. Marks at 94 St. Marks Place, for the foreseeable future. Horse Trade couldn't let The Red Room go without a proper send-off! So the month of March will be full of special events in The Red Room, as they say goodbye to a beloved East Village staple.

The next chapter in TV One's highly successful R&B Divas reality franchise unfolds with new series R&B DIVAS: LA. The series, following the lives and careers of Kelly Price, Chante Moore, Lil' Mo, Claudette Ortiz, Michel'le and Dawn Robinson, will begin production this month in Los Angeles with an anticipated premiere on TV One in Q3 2013.
Following its acclaimed 16-week run at the Lookingglass Theatre Company this fall, Metamorphoses brings the mythical tales of Ovid to life at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater, 10 years after the Broadway premiere. Written and directed by Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman, Metamorphoses is based on David Slavitt's translation and marks the first time Zimmerman will direct the production since its Broadway run. This is also the first time Zimmerman will stage Metamorphoses in the round, and a custom set will be designed with the largest pool of water ever created for this production. Metamorphoses dives onto the Fichandler Stage tonight, February 8-March 17, 2013.
