GOOD COMPANY THEATRE EAGERLY ANTICIPATES THE REUNION OF A BELOVED
1960s GIRL-GROUP WITH “ODETTES FOR THE HOLIDAYS”

December 8-23 | Thursdays - Saturdays at 8pm | 2nd Saturday and Sundays at 4pm

Ogden, Utah--Good Company Theatre is ecstatic to remount Odettes For The Holidays. This festive,
original one-act play with music premiered at GCT in December 2014.

After nearly a decade, famed 1960s girl-group The Odettes returns to their hometown for a holiday
reunion concert at the Double-Time Lounge, where they got their start. With Christmastime hits like
"Tinsel and Mistletoe," "Jingle Jangle," and “Snow Angel,” it's bound to please their adoring fans.

For Adelaide "Della" Crawford, Dorinda "Dori" Pendleton, and Regina Johnson, daughter of late
original member Deloris Johnson, it is a chance to sing through their memories of one another, of the
group that brought them all together, and of the music that keeps them connected. Pianist Woodrow
“Woody” Watson joins them on keys as they prepare for their long-awaited return to the stage.

“Odettes for the Holidays is truly in the spirit of the season with its delightful story and warmhearted
tunes,” effuses the show’s Director Alicia Washington. “Its central themes of love and family are
sure to resonate with audiences of all types.”

“This play is an homage to the style of music that helps make this time of year so memorable like songs by Darlene Love and The Staple Singera,” reflects Good Company Theatre Co-Director Camille
Washington, who wrote the music and the story. “It is also a tribute to the personalities and
relationships that shape our lives and make the holidays special.”

Odettes for the Holidays features performances by Dee-Dee Darby-Duffin (Mercury, Women of
Lockerbie), Sammee Lydia James (Surely Goodness and Mercy), Mack (A Diva Holiday, Caroline
or Change), and Laikwan Waigwa-Stone (Lady Day at Emmerson’s Bar and Grill).

The show is recommended for fans of that classic ‘50s and ‘60s sound ages 10 and up. Tickets are
available for $17 online at goodcotheatre.com and at the door before each performance.

Ages: The show is recommended for fans of that classic ‘50s and ‘60s sound ages 10 and up.
