Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, the first New York City Center Encores! production of the season, is now in rehearsals in anticipation of a February 8 - February 19 run. Merrily We Roll Along, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth, is being directed by James Lapine with music direction by Rob Berman and musical staging by Dan Knechtges. Anything Goes star Colin Donnell begins a leave of absence from the show today, January 24, to perform in Merrily We Roll Along at Encores! Bill English will assume the role of "Billy Crocker" tonight thru Sunday, February 19th. Colin Donnell will return to the show on Tuesday, February 21st.

Casting has been completed for New York City Center's upcoming Encores! production of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along, the first New York City Center Encores! production of the season.
