The British Academy of Film and Television Arts announced Tuesday, April 24 the nominations for its 2012 television awards. British miniseries 'Appropriate Adult,' which chronicles the real-life serial killer Fred West, leads the way with four nominations.

The EMMY-nominated animated children's series DINOSAUR TRAIN will premiere the new 'Dinosaurs A to Z' one-hour special May 14 on PBS KIDS to encourage preschoolers to practice the letters of the alphabet while learning about the diversity of dinosaurs. The episode will repeat on May 18 (check local listings).

Two-time Tony Award nominated costume designer Carrie Robbins, and scenic, lighting, costume designer and educator Lloyd Burlingame are among the 2012 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. Ms. Robbins was selected to receive the 2012 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design, and Mr. Burlingame will receive the Robert L.B. Theatre Development Fund's (TDF) Costume Collection, which is one of the largest theatrical costume rental houses in the country, has moved its 75,000-piece costume collection to the landmarked Kaufman Astoria Studios (KAS) and opens for business in its new home on Monday, November 14 at 9am.
