Newnan Community Theatre Company (NCTC) is looking for directors for their 2010 season. The seven shows on the Main Stage are 'What the Butler Saw', 'Death of a Salesman', 'Cabaret', 'Psycho Beach Party', 'The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man in the Moon Marigolds', 'Fuddy Meers', and 'Miracle on 34th Street.'

Kevin Steele, who plays Aaron in the upcoming Theater of the Stars presentation of Chicago at the Fabulous Fox Theatre September 8 - 13, sat down and shared a little about his fascinating career, from elementary school teacher to professional actor.

From starring roles in 'Rebel Without a Cause,' 'East of Eden,' and 'Giant', he was quite famous and popular. He reached legendary status when, at the age of 24, he was killed in a car crash in California.

Producer Jack Thomas of Bulldog Theatrical will present Mary Adkins' new play The 49 Project as part of the 13th annual New York International Fringe Festival August 14-30.

Actors Co-op will present BIG RIVER: THE ADVENTURES OF HUCKLBERRY FINN September 21 Through November 1st. The production will open September 25.

The new developmental production of How Now, Dow Jones starring Cristen Paige (Spelling Bee, The Visit, Cry-Baby), Colin Hanlon (Rent, I Love You Because) and Fred Berman (The Normal Heart, Room Service) will begin performances this Saturday at the Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane) as part of the 2009 New York International Fringe Festival. This new production will also restore an Elmer Bernstein-Carolyn Leigh cabaret favorite to the show: 'Shakespeare Lied'.

The historic Abbeville Opera House schedule for the upcoming Winter Theatre Season. For the past year, the one hundred year old theatre has been celebrating its Centennial Season and is now kicking off its 101st Winter Theatre Season with a new comedy called Leading Ladies. The Opera House production is being directed by Dr. Brad Christie, an Erskine College professor with scores of Opera House acting credits on his resume.
