In keeping with this partnership, the producer and cast members of the award-winning daytime drama Days of Our Lives will present objects to the museum

The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History is thrilled to be adding artifacts that reflect the contributions of daytime television programming to the national entertainment collection in a special ceremony that continues an on-going partnership with the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS). The donations—from “Days of Our Lives,” in celebration of the show 50th Anniversary, will be presented by Deidre Hall, Susan Seafoth Hayes and Executive Producer, Greg Meng who is also the author of the 50th Anniversary book.  

During the interview, the actress discussed the current debate of unequal pay for male and female actresses in Hollywood and shared a recent situation that she had experienced on Broadway.

Sienna Miller almost returned to Broadway, but turned down the role when she found out she would be paid much less than her male co-star for no apparent reason.
