Philip Seymour Hoffman is 'The Master' in New Paul Thomas Anderson Flick

Stage and screen thespian Philip Seymour Hoffman has teamed up with There Will Be Blood writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson on a new drama in which Hoffman plays the founder of a new religious organization in the 1950s. The projects banner, Universal, will decided whether or not to pull the tirgger on the estimated $35 million dollar film after Anderson delivers the final script.

Actor and comedian Henry Gibson, who charmed audiences as the poet on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In and as a cranky judge on Boston Legal, died in his home on Monday after a short battle with cancer. He was 73.
