The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) announced award recipients in 3 of this year's 32 media categories at the 22nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards presented nationally by RÖKK Vodka and locally by Southwest Airlines at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis on Saturday night. Now in its fourth year, this awards show will not look at the year that passed, but will instead focus on what is up-and-coming in popular culture in 2011 and beyond.

According to Reuters, THE GLEE PROJECT, which will go behind the scenes of casting a guest spot for FOX's hit musical comedy, has been attracting thousands of auditionees around the world.
