The producers of Forgotten Voices, a play by Malcolm McKay based on the best-selling book Forgotten Voices of the Great War by Max Arthur, are delighted to announce the cast and special guest artists for the show's run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2014. The acclaimed stars of stage and screen who will be appearing as guest artists* are: Julian Sands and Robert Vaughn (30 July - 6 August), Christopher Timothy (14 - 18 August), Robert Powell (14 and 15 August), James Fleet (20 - 25 August) and Celia Imrie (20 - 22 August). They join core cast members: Philip Fox, Geoff Leesley, Gerrard McArthur and Wendy Nottingham. *Further guest casting is to be announced.

Artistic Director Steven Glaudini presents the third show in Moonlight Stage Production's 34th summer season, the beloved classic Broadway smash hit MY FAIR LADY. Performances are August 13 to 30. The NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK (NNPN), the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces its 44th, 45th, and 46th Rolling World Premieres: Nathan Alan Davis' Dontrell, Who Kissed the Sea, Andrew Hinderaker's Colossal, and William Missouri Downs' Women Playing Hamlet will receive a total of 12 productions through the Network's Continued Life of New Plays Fund in the 2014/15 season.

A sweeping spectacle of bawdy buffoonery and bloody rebellion, director Jonathan Epstein's razor sharp and condensed adaptation of Henry IV delivers both parts in one dynamic evening of theatre at Shakespeare & Company. Tennessee Shakespeare Company (TSC), the Mid-South's professional classical theatre, today announced its 2014-15 schedule of plays, which includes three by Shakespeare, the Southern Exposure Series, a continuing partnership with Dixon Gallery & Gardens, a new summer partnership with the University of Memphis, and a new Musical Works Festival sponsored by the Broadway licensing company of Memphis, Monty Python's Spamalot, The Color Purple, and All Shook Up: The Music of Elvis Presley.

In a coup for South Australia, it has been announced that the great British director Peter Brook's production of The Suit will play exclusively in Adelaide for State Theatre Company in October. Exclusivity for the Australian premiere has been secured with the support of the South Australian Tourism Commission, which will also support a targeted marketing campaign to theatre-goers from Melbourne and Sydney.

Broadway producer, Karen Walter Goodwin, has died from complications of color cancer surgery on June 30. She was 66 years old.

Pryce, a Tony and Olivier winner, will play the High Sparrow. His character is described as: 'A devout and pious man, the High Sparrow came to King's Landing to serve those forgotten by much of the world - the poor, the downtrodden and the infirm - and quickly amassed a large following. His fellow believers have swarmed over the city, ministering to the lowest and decrying the corruption of the highest.'

The National New Play Network (NNPN), the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, in collaboration with the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival and Stanford University's National Center for New Plays, will host nearly fifty playwrights, directors and dramaturgs today, July 26 - August 3, 2014 as part of a week-long workshop for new works by MFA students from New York University-Tisch School of the Arts, Hunter College, University of California-San Diego, and the Juilliard School.

After closing out the financial records for Seattle Shakespeare Company's 2013-2014 season, Managing Director John Bradshaw announced that the company ended the year in the black with revenues of $1.6 million, a record high for the company. This is the 13th year in a row that the company has ended the season with a positive fund balance.

The London-based Shakespeare's Globe will bring their global touring production of William Shakespeare's Hamlet to Folger Theatre for three performances only this weekend, July 25 and 26, 2014, making it the only east coast stop for the company in the United States. Directed by Dominic Dromgoole and Bill Buckhurst, the production is a fresh, pared-down version of the classic tragedy of deferred revenge.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company begins gearing up for the 2014-2015 season with the audience favorite of "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)" by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield. This wacky comedy condenses all thirty-eight of Shakespeare's plays into just ninety-seven minutes. Featuring Jeremy Dubin, Justin McCombs and Nicholas Rose, "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)" opens July 25, 2014 and runs through August 16, 2014 and is directed by Artistic Associate, Sara Clark. This show is back by popular demand having not been seen on the CSC stage since 2012!

ORLANDO Bloom is the first Patron of The Marlowe Youth Theatre. The Hollywood star was at The Marlowe Theatre yesterday (Thursday), his first visit in nearly four years.

A Contemporary Theatre announces the remainder of its 2014 Season with a plethora of Mainstage and Central Heating Lab shows. The Mainstage welcomes two major players from the national scene with a new work from Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Ayad Ahktar who has penned a riveting drama about the overlapping worlds of terrorism and the financial markets called The Invisible Hand. Akhtar's thriller is followed by Christopher Durang's Tony Award-winning comedy Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike which throws classic Chekhov characters in a modern family blender.

The Mirror Repertory Company, along with The Greensboro Arts Alliance and Residency (GAAR), presents Tony-nominee Marla Schaffel (Jane Eyre) in THE MIRACLE WORKER as part of its 2014 summer season in Greensboro, Vermont. GAAR's 2014 summer season will also include a limited engagement of Rodgers + Hammerstein's CAROUSEL.

The Puppet Shakespeare Players and STT Productions present the world premiere of PUPPET TITUS ANDRONICUS - a fresh, comedic take on Shakespeare's 'worst' play performed in the style of 'Avenue Q' - Off-Broadway at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street) in Manhattan. Directed by Ryan Rinkel, PUPPET TITUS ANDRONICUS will begin preview performances tonight, July 24 prior to an official press opening of July 30, and will continue to play through August 17.
