Award-winning producers Randy Taradash, Paul Boskind and Martian Entertainment, and Gregory Rae announced complete casting today for the original musical BARE. The company will feature Taylor Trensch (Peter), Jason Hite (Jason) and Elizabeth Judd (Ivy), with Gerard Canonico (Matt), Jerold E. Solomon (Father Mike), Barrett Wilbert Weed (Nadia) and Missi Pyle (Sister Joan). They will be joined by Casey Garvin (Zack), Ariana Groover (Vanessa), Sara Kapner (Madison), Nick Laughlin (Swing), Alice Lee (Diane), Megan Lewis (Swing), Justin Gregory Lopez (Beto), Michael Tacconi (Nick) and Alex Wyse (Alan).

The New York Music Theater Festival can easily be considered a harbor for the freshest talents in musical theater. Over a period of several weeks, an astonishing number of musical productions are presented on vest pocket stages throughout New York City. As is often the case with harbors, there is a confluence of talent feeding into it. BARE Gets Industry Readings 10/31 & 11/1; Andy Mientus, Curt Hansen Lead Cast

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that the musical BARE is officially getting a new lease on life, beginning with two industry readings next week, October 31 and November 1. The Damon Intrabartolo and Jon Hartmere piece will be directed by Stafford Arima and Lynne Shankel will musical direct.
