World-renowned producer and DJ Paul Oakenfold has been one of the few figures in dance music to have-made an indelible impact on modern day popular culture. From being credited as the main catalyst of the dance music revolution that took hold of the UK in the late 1980's, to bringing DJ sets to stadiums via his opening slots for major pop acts such as U2, to remixing artists as diverse as Radiohead, Justin Timberlake and The Rolling Stones, the UK-born Oakenfold has consistently been recognized as an artist able to spread the gospel of club music beyond the confines of club culture.
