A handful of celeb friends of 'Freestyle Love Supreme' turned out to support the celebrated musical improv troupe last night at Joe's Pub in New York City, as they unveiled the upcoming new 'Freestyle Love Supreme' television series, premiering this Friday, October 17 at 10:30pm ET/PT on Pivot. Guests included multi-platinum recording artist and musician Josh Groban, star of FX's 'You're the Worst' Desmin Borges, and 2014 Tony Award-winner James Monroe Inglehart.

On Friday, October 17, Pivot will debut two new half hour series during the 10 p.m. hour, Freestyle Love Supreme, a new comedic improv series inspired by the acclaimed stage show from Tony and Grammy award-winners, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Thomas Kail. The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the nominees for the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards. Many of the major categories were announced this morning on 'CBS News' 'The Early Show,' by Bree Williamson (Jessica Brennan on 'One Life to Live,' ABC) and Travis Stork ('The Doctors,' Syndicated) including the naming of the Lifetime Achievement honoree, Agnes Nixon, the grand dame of Daytime serial drama.
