Norm Lewis, Brad Oscar Join Drama League Gala, 2/6

The Drama League has announced that Norm Lewis and Brad Oscar have joined the roster of special guests for their 28th Annual Musical Celebration of Broadway honoring Tony® and EmmyAward®-winner Kristin Chenoweth, to be held on February 6, 2012 at the famed Pierre Hotel (2 East 61st Street). Designed by celebrity event planner Preston Bailey, the Gala supports the educational initiatives of The Drama League Directors Project.

Rachel Resheff (The People in the Picture, Shrek) and Helen Hayes Award winner Brian Childers (Danny and Sylvia) will join the previously announced Tony Yazbeck, Kimberly Faye Greenberg, and Jim Brochu for one night only in the Meredith Willson musical Miracle on 34th Street, presented December 12 in Manhattan to benefit the Actors Fund.

Billy's the new kid at Our Lady Of Perpetual Motion and he has a lot to learn about parochial school. When he meets his drama teacher Sister Katherine, a beguiling novice who jogs and sings like Julie Andrews, Billy falls hopelessly in love, resolving to become Pope and change the rules of the church so that they can one day marry. The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center has announced cast members for this summer's National Music Theater Conference. The Conference, under the leadership of Artistic Director Paulette Haupt, runs from June 25 through July 15 at the O'Neill?s Waterford, Connecticut, campus and will develop not just three, but four original music theater pieces this season.
