The New York Civil Liberties Union, the New York State affiliate of the ACLU, welcomes a star-studded lineup for its annual benefit concert. 'Broadway Stands Up for Freedom,' a celebratory event in honor of the recent Supreme Court victory for the freedom to marry, will boast performances by some of Broadway's finest tonight, July 20, at the NYU Skirball Center for Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place).

-15-year-old Broadway veteran Rachel Resheff takes the stage at 54 Below for her first solo show,Unwrangled, on July 26th at 7:00pm. Currently performing as Jessica Drexel in Larry David's hit Broadway play Fish in the Dark, the multifaceted stage and screen actress will perform an array of songs and anecdotes while finding out the answers to some of life's toughest questions; With five Broadway shows under her belt, where does the teen go from here? How did it all happen? And how does she navigate the journey from 'child actress' to leading lady…all while getting her homework done, as a high school student striving towards getting into a good college?

Broadway Sings for Pride roars into their 5th year and celebrate New York City LGBT Pride with 'Roar', their fifth annual benefit concert, benefiting the Tyler Clementi Foundation, tonight, June 22, 2015. 

Tony Award-winning actor Jason Alexander recently assumed the role of 'Norman Drexel' in Larry David's hit comedy Fish In the Dark, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). Alexander steps into the role created by David in the comedy about a death in the family. Broadway Sings for Pride will roar into their 5th year and celebrate New York City LGBT Pride with 'Roar', their fifth annual benefit concert, benefiting the Tyler Clementi Foundation. The one-night benefit, will feature songs that embody gay perseverance, marked by an array of musical performers from the world of Broadway, pop and beyond. The night will feature two special musical reunions from the companies of RENT and A Chorus Line.

Broadway favorite Frenchie Davis (American Idol, The Voice, Broadway's RENT) will make her Broadway Sings for Pride debut in 'ROAR' which will celebrate NYC Gay Pride. Frenchie known for her powerful voice will be apart of group numbers and a solo piece during the event. Frenchie appeared on American Idol's second season where she showcased her soulful voice. She made her Broadway debut in RENT as the 'Seasons of Love' soloist in the Tony-award winning show RENT. She was also seen in the starring role of Effie in a West Coast-touring production of Dreamgirls, which appeared in Sacramento, San Jose, Seattle. Davis also made it to the top 8 of The Voice as a member of Christina Aguilera's team.

Shapiro, at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). Mr. Alexander steps into the role created by Mr. David in the comedy about a death in the family. Larry David will play his final performance in FISH IN THE DARK on Sunday, June 7. The limited engagement run of the production, originally scheduled through June 7, is extended for six weeks through Sunday, July 19.

A $35 rush policy will be launched on Tuesday, June 9th when Tony Award-winning actor Jason Alexander assumes the role of Norman Drexel in Larry David's hit comedy Fish In the Dark, directed by Anna D. Shapiro, at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). A limited number of rush tickets will be available the day of the performance at the box office of the Cort Theatre. The $35 rush tickets will be limited to 2 per person and will be available when the box office opens.

This past weekend CARRIE: The Musical returned to NYC for a sold out run at Baruch Performing Arts Center. Carrie was produced by the Broadway Workshop as their 2014 Main stage production. Scroll down for photos of the cast in action!
