There is not a dry in in the Music Box Theatre after Rachel Bay Jones performs Heidi Hansen's heartbreaking 'So Big, So Small' in Dear Evan Hansen. Her emotionally raw performance has earned Jones her first Tony nomination and she tells Richard Ridge why it and the show mean so much to her below!

STARS IN THE ALLEY is proud to announce that 2017 Tony Award Nominee for Falsettos Brandon Uranowitz will serve as social media correspondent for the 2017 concert. He will be on hand to cover the event live on Twitter and on Instagram bringing fans both exclusive backstage access and a unique perspective on all that's happening on stage and in the audience this year.

Just last night, Manhattan Theatre Club presented its annual Spring Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street (110 East 42nd Street) honoring Matthew C. Blank, Chairman of Showtime Networks Inc. This year's Gala was hosted by Emmy and Tony Award winner Mandy Patinkin and featured performances by many of the most acclaimed musicals on Broadway including Bandstand; A Bronx Tale; Come From Away; Dear Evan Hansen; Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812; Sunset Boulevard; and a sneak peek of Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming production of Prince of Broadway.

Yesterday, May 19, Broadway's brightest gathered at the Marriott Marquis Times Square to celebrate this year's Drama League Awards nominees for Outstanding Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award. Happy (almost) Mother's Day everyone! To celebrate, the mom's of this year's hit show DEAR EVAN HANSEN, Jennifer Laura Thompson and Rachel Bay Jones, donned matching shirts and chatted with some of Broadway's most notable real life mothers.

On May 3, the 2017 Tony nominees flocked to the Sofitel New York, where they met with the press for the first time since getting the big news. The 2017 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were handed out last night to recipients in 19 categories, with three honorary awards also bestowed. The Lortel Awards were distributed in a ceremony at NYU Skirball Center hosted by actor and comedian Taran Killam. This year's event was once again a benefit for The Actors Fund.
