Irish Repertory Theatre celebrates its award-winning 25th Anniversary Season with SOMETHING WONDERFUL! THE SONGS OF RODGERS & HAMMERSTEIN, an evening celebrating classic Rodgers and Hammerstein hits performed by a galaxy of Broadway stars, for one night only, Monday, June 10 at Broadway's Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street). Shirley Jones, best known for her roles in 'Oklahoma!' and 'Carousel,' returns to Broadway in the gala evening, directed by Charlotte Moore and hosted by Tom Hanks.

Nora Ephron's last written work, Lucky Guy, will be featured in the upcoming collection The Most of Nora Ephron, scheduled to be published by Knopf October 29 ($35.00). The book will only be available as a hardcover. The collection, edited and introduced by Robert Gottlieb, marks the first time Ephron's work as a journalist, essayist, novelist, screenwriter, playwright, sometimes cook and blogger has been published in one volume.

The 12th annual Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by American Express, today announced the winner of the inaugural Nora Ephron Prize at the annual Women's Filmmaker Brunch held at Company 3 . The prize, presented by TFF co-founder Jane Rosenthal and Sally Singer, creative digital director, Vogue, was awarded to first-time writer/director Meera Menon (Farah Goes Bang). Menon was selected out of eight 2013 TFF filmmakers to receive a cash prize of $25,000 for work and talent that embody the spirit and vision of the legendary filmmaker and writer. The Festival runs through April 28.

In a recent interview with CNN Barbra Streisand spoke about women directors in Hollywood and why she believes they still do not enjoy the same success as their male counterparts. 'I just don't think they've come far enough,' says the Academy Award winner. 'Women still get paid seventy seven cents on the dollar and we're not really equal yet.' The Film Society of Lincoln Center presented the 40th Chaplin Award honoring Academy Award-winner Barbra Streisand yesterday, April 22, at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center. The Drama League (Executive Director, Gabriel Shanks) has announced the 2013 Drama League Awards Nominees for Distinguished Play, Distinguished Revival of a Play, Distinguished Musical, Distinguished Revival of a Musical, and Distinguished Performance Award. The nominations were announced at a ceremony hosted by Patina Miller and Michael Urie this morning at Sardi's Restaurant which were streamed live online at www.BroadwayWorld.com.

Lucky Guy, which opened April 1 to critical acclaim at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street), is the final work by three-time Academy Award-nominee Nora Ephron and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner George C. Wolfe.

The Tribeca Film Festival has announced that they will launch a new annual award to honor the late playwright Nora Ephron, according to Variety. The award, to be called 'The Nora Ephron Prize', will award a monetary prize of $25,000 and will be given for the first time during the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival.

LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE, now playing at Aux Dog Theatre, deals with far more meaningful topics than the title may suggest. Written by Nora Ephron (WHEN HARRY MET SALLY, SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE…) and sister, Delia Ephron, this is definitely a theatrical experience by, for and about, women.

The Albuquerque Premiere of LOVE, LOSS AND WHAT I WORE opens tonight, April 12th at 8 PM at Aux Dog Theatre. Written by Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron and based on the book by Ilene Beckerman, the show will be directed by Joann Danella.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, The Singing Room has been cancelled. It was previously scheduled to run April 12 - May 18, 3013. Stage Left Theater Company from Salida will be performing two a second show at Spark Theater this month.

Tom Hanks made his Broadway debut last week in Lucky Guy, written by Nora Ephron and directed by George C. Wolfe. At the Sunday, April 7, 2013, matinee Hanks auctioned off a reporter's notebook to support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and 'Full House' stars John Stamos and Bob Saget were in the audience to bid against each other.
