The University of the Arts' Ira Brind School of Theater Arts announces the lineup for year three of Polyphone, a 'festival of the emerging musical' at UArts in Philadelphia.

Theatre for a New Audience (Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director) presents director Arin Arbus's new staging of Thornton Wilder's tragicomic masterpiece The Skin of Our Teethtonight, February 14, through March 19 at Polonsky Shakespeare Center(262 Ashland Place), TFANA's state-of-the-art permanent home in the heart of the Brooklyn Cultural District.

Theatre for a New Audience has announced the performance schedule, cast and creative team for director Arin Arbus's new staging of Thornton Wilder's comic masterpiece The Skin of Our Teeth, the first major New York production since 1998.

Stephanie Blythe, a renowned mezzo-soprano 'who can do anything' according to The New York Times, will put that theory to the test this February with Opera Philadelphia, as she tries on a Rossini trouser role for the first time and hitches up her pants to appear alongside 'the world's tallest and hairiest drag queen' for an immersive concert event.

Eliot Feld remains committed to creating a repertory of dances created especially for young dancers.  For the June 8-11 season of Kids Dance, Feld will premiere works by Laura Careless, and a second new work by a trio of young choreographers who are graduates or seniors at Juilliard: Conner Bormann, Riley O'Flynn, Stephanie Terasaki.

THE ROAD THEATRE COMPANY and Taylor Gilbert, Founder/Artistic Director together with Sam Anderson, Artistic Director, are thrilled to present the second show of its 2016-2017 season, the Los Angeles premiere of WHITE GUY ON THE BUS, written by Bruce Graham and directed by Stewart J. The newly formed Wallis Youth Theater Company presents its inaugural theater production Word of Mouth-a devised physical theater piece that asks audiences to examine the role words play in creating a culture of fear and division, or a culture of empathy and unity-on January 28 & 29 in the Lovelace Studio Theater at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. Directed by Madeleine Dahm, Word of Mouth is an experimental work that was born of the youth theater members' reactions to recent political and social events across the world, and their desire to question the normalization of verbal violence.
