Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts (www.usdan.com), the nationally acclaimed summer arts day camp that for almost 50 years has introduced the arts to more than 60,000 children, announces its new Aftercare Program, to further accommodate the needs of families. Open to all students, the program extends from 3:05 PM to 6 PM on every Usdan day, and parents may pick up their children any time from 3:45 PM on. There is no extra charge for this service.

For the CSO's 2014 Holiday Pops, chorus master and conductor Ronald Jenkins, who conceived the program in 1983 and has since conducted all 93 performances, has selected a program of seasonal favorites infused with seven all-new pieces to be performed by more than 250 musicians, vocalists, and dancers. Jenkins and the musicians of the CSO will be joined by the Columbus Symphony Chorus, Columbus Children's Choir, dancers Justin Gibbs and Joanie Evans, children from BalletMet, narrator Steven Crawford, and of course, Mr. and Mrs. Claus for a heartwarming holiday spectacular and beloved annual Columbus tradition.

The Center begins its 48tth season with new program options that will add breadth to Usdan's renowned offerings, while new calendar options will accommodate more families' summer plans.
