About Face Theatre will kick off LGBTQ Pride Month with the Chicago premiere of the Oliver Award-winning drama THE PRIDE by Alexi Kaye Campbell, directed by Artistic Director Bonnie Metzgar, playing June 6 - July 13, 2013 at Victory Gardens Richard Christiansen Theater, 2433 N. As part of Aquila Theatre's National Endowment for the Humanities Chairman Special Award 3 year public program, Ancient Greeks / Modern Lives, four post-performance talks will be held after each performance of Herakles at BAM Fisher. Noted scholars will join combat veterans who have been involved in the project to discuss the themes of the play as they relate to the experience of the veteran community in America today and the wider society within which they live.

ONCE, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and the 2013 Grammy Award, celebrated its first Anniversary on Broadway on March 20, 2013. The production, based on the 2007 Academy Award-winning film, opened to rave reviews on Sunday, March 18, 2012 and is playing at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, 242 West 45th Street. JOE'S PUB will welcome Tony Award winner Tonya Pinkins return to their stage for an ongoing series BRING ON THE MEN tonight, March 24th, 2013 at 9:30 PM. Best known for her celebrated roles in Caroline, or Change and Jelly's Last Jam, Tonya made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Merrily We Roll Along. Broadway audiences have also delighted in her performances in Chronicle of a Death Foretold, Play On!, The Wild Party and Radio Golf, while television audiences know her from As The World Turns, All My Children and Army Wives and 24.

TheatreWorks, the nationally acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, presents the hilarious new play WILD WITH HAPPY written by and starring award-winning playwright Colman Domingo. The production plays previews Wednesday, June 5 to Friday, June 7, 2013, with a press opening on Saturday, June 8, 2013. WILD WITH HAPPY will close on Sunday, June 30, 2013.

Lincoln Center Theater presents an LCT3 Special Event of Mr. Joy, a 90-minute one-man show written and performed by Daniel Beaty and directed by Sheryl Kaller. The workshop production will be performed April 8, April 9, April 12-15, and April 17-21 at 7:00 pm at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street).

Cornish College of the Arts Theater and Performance Production departments present Bat Boy: The Musical, April 10 through 13, at the Playhouse at Seattle Center. The run of the play includes a fundraiser for the Cornish Scholarship Fund, Bat Boy: Backstage Benefit, on April 10.

The Lyric Stage Company of Boston presents BY THE WAY, MEET VERA STARK by Lynn Nottage, March 29 - April 27, 2013.

Hidden secrets are unearthed and family tensions fly high in Pulitzer Prize nominee Jon Robin Baitz's contemporary family drama Other Desert Cities. Helen Hayes Award winner and former Arena Stage Associate Artistic Director Kyle Donnelly returns to direct the D.C.-area premiere of the show with a cast that features Tony Award nominee and two-time Helen Hayes Award winner Helen Carey (Mary Tyrone in Arena Stage's Long Day's Journey into Night, Broadway's Hedda Gabler) as matriarch Polly Wyeth and two-time Tony Award nominee Larry Bryggman (Broadway's Harvey, CBS's As the World Turns) as patriarch Lyman Wyeth. Rounding out the cast are Emily Donahoe (Broadway's 33 Variations) as daughter Brooke Wyeth, Scott Drummond (Cherry Lane Theatre's A Perfect Future) as son Trip Wyeth and Martha Hackett (Pacific Resident Theatre's Nora) as their aunt Silda Grauman. Other Desert Cities runs April 26-May 26, 2013 in the Fichandler Stage.

At the special performance, Cristin Milioti who will be leaving the show on March 24, gave a heartfelt speech and the cast performed a special encore that was cut early in the show's downtown run and only performed twice. Melissa Joan Hart, a Westport resident and star of television, film, and theater, will be featured in the romantic comedy "Any Wednesday," a benefit playreading to support Westport Country Playhouse's Script in Hand series, on one-night-only, Monday, July 29, 7 p.m. Director is Anne Keefe, Playhouse artistic advisor. Tickets to the benefit playreading are $100, $50, and $25. Tickets include the playreading and post-performance "Meet the Cast" reception.

The Vineyard Theatre announces that the first Susan Stroman Directing Award has been given to Liesl Tommy. This new, residency-based award, given to a talented early or mid-career director, will provide its recipients with space, time and support to develop projects and strike new collaborations while in residence at the theatre. The award was presented to Ms. Tommy at The Vineyard's 30th Anniversary Gala, held last night at The Edison Ballroom. With Ms. Stroman's creative genius and spirit of collaboration as an inspiration, The Vineyard will proudly present the Susan Stroman Award annually.

Superman finds his Lois Lane! Joining Edward Watts (Superman) in the New York City Center Encores! production of It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman will be Jenny Powers as Lois Lane and David Pittu as the evil Dr. Sedgwick, along with Erich Bergen, Alli Mauzey, James Saito and Will Swenson. Superman will play at City Center for seven performances, tonight, March 20 - 24, and will be directed by John Rando with choreography by Joshua Bergasse and music direction by Rob Berman.

Gigi Bermingham will star as internationally renowned opera diva Maria Callas when International City Theatre (ICT) presents Terrence McNally's Tony Award-winning Master Class. Todd Nielsen directs a four-week run beginning March 22 at ICT, located in the Long Beach Performing Arts Center. Two low-priced previews are set for tonight, March 20 and 21.
