The Old Globe today announced that the World Premiere of Allegiance - A New American Musical will receive an additional week of performances and will now run through October 28.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Stockard Channing will play Julianna Marguiles' character Alicia's 'mercurial' mother in CBS's The Good Wife, season four. Channing will appear in at least one episode.

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Keen Company (Jonathan Silverstein, Artistic Director/Damon Chua, Executive Director) today announced that Marry Me A Little, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, conceived by Craig Lucas and Norman Rene, directed by Keen Artistic Director Jonathan Silverstein, starring Lauren Molina and Jason Tam, will extend for one additional week to accommodate unprecedented demand. Marry Me A Little kicks off their 2012 - '13 season and will be followed by a newly revised version of the 1991 play, The Old Boy by A.R. Gurney. Performances will continue through October 27th, with two additional Wednesday matinees on October 17th and 24th.

Grammy Award winner Mika's new album The Origin of Love is set for release October 8, 2012, and includes the track, 'Popular Song.' The tune samples 'Popular' from Broadway's WICKED, originally sung by Kristin Chenoweth. Listen to Mika's song below!

Hallmark Channel and American Humane Association announced today that popular television, film and Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth will host the 2012 American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards™, a star-studded evening honoring America's most courageous canines. The Hero Dog Awards, which are presented by the Lois Pope LIFE Foundation and produced by Emmy® award-winning MRB Productions, will air as a 90-minute special on Hallmark Channel November 8, 2012 at 8:00 pm ET/PT.
