ABC Family announces the cast for its pilot “Stay,” which also kicked off production this week in Los Angeles.

As ABC Family works to double its original programming over the next four years, the network has greenlit pilot production on a new one-hour drama “Stay.” This drama pilot joins previous pilot orders for “Gorgeous Morons” and supernatural drama “Beyond.”

A feature film is in the works based on the popular Disney theme park ride IT'S A SMALL WORLD. Jon Turteltaub is set to direct.

The film adaptation of Orson Scott Card's sci-fi action novel ENDER'S GAME opened at No. 1 on Friday with $9.9 million and is setting its sights toward $28 million by Sunday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Starring four legends like you've never seen them before, Last Vegas tells the story of Billy, Paddy, Archie and Sam (played by Academy-Award winners Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline), best friends since childhood.

USA has officially cancelled COMMON LAW, opting out of the option to order a second season.

The 60th edition of the San Sebastian Festival will this year bestow its Donostia Awards on actors John Travolta, Ewan McGregor and Tommy Lee Jones and the Special 60th Anniversary Donostia Award going to director Oliver Stone. In 1969, Jones made his Broadway debut in John Osborne's A Patriot for Me. His other Broadway appearances include Four on a Garden and Ulysses in Nighttown.
