Starz announced today that the highly anticipated new pirate drama 'Black Sails' will premiere on STARZ on Saturday, January 25th at 9pm ET/PT. The eight-episode first season of the authentic pirate adventure centers on the tales of Captain Flint (Toby Stephens) and his men, and takes place twenty years prior to Robert Louis Stevenson's classic 'Treasure Island.'

It all takes place at Henri Bendel, 712 Fifth Avenue at 56th Street, where visitors can see the main window of the Henri Bendel flagship store transformed into the resplendent formal dining room of a classic New York townhouse in the midst of a holiday party.

Author, Doctor Michael Palmer Dies at Age 71

Michael Stephen Palmer, M.D., American physician and author, has died at the age of 71. On October 29, 2013, he unexpectedly suffered a heart attack and stroke, dying the next day in New York City. In addition to his three sons Matthew, Daniel, and Luke, Dr. Palmer's survivors include four grandchildren and his two sisters, Donna and Susan.

Gregory Behrendt is a brilliant lifelong comedian and author. His work as a script consultant to the HBO sitcom Sex and the City, starring Sarah Jessica Parker, paved the way for co-authoring of the New York Times bestseller He's Just Not That into You, which was later adapted into a film. Apart from that he also hosted two talk shows, The Greg Behrendt Show and Greg Behrendt's Wake Up Call.

As SEUSSICAL returns to the Arts Theatre this Christmas, Sell a Door Theatre Company just announced the full cast. Ste Clough takes on the role of Horton the Elephant (played, last year, by David Hunter) with Elliot Fitzpatrick donning the famous topper and tailcoat to play the Cat in the Hat.
