The Los Angeles Philharmonic and Classical KUSC continue their annual radio broadcast partnership, reaching over half a million listeners in Southern and Central California. The 13 concerts, recorded during the LA Phil's 2012/13 season, feature the orchestra with an impressive roster of guest artists and conductors. The first broadcast features Gustavo Dudamel leading the LA Phil in Ravel's Pavane for a Dead Princess, the world premiere of Steven Stucky's Symphony and Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, and airs locally on KUSC-FM 91.5 Los Angeles, tonight, April 7, 2013, at 7 PM.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic and Classical KUSC, in partnership with WFMT Radio Network in Chicago, have confirmed 202 markets nationwide will carry the LA Phil's annual radio broadcast concert series (a number that will grow throughout the coming year). One of the country's most prestigious musical institutions, the Oberlin Conservatory of Music comes to New York City in January for a tour -- spanning four concerts in four venues -- that includes performances by the Oberlin Faculty Jazz Ensemble, Oberlin Contemporary Music Ensemble with International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), Oberlin College Choir, Oberlin Baroque and the Oberlin Orchestra.

The three evenings close with Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6, "Pathetique," what many consider to be the composer's most profound symphony. The Saturday and Sunday programs open with Barber's Essay No. 2.

Gamelan D'Drum is scored for symphony orchestra and more than 70 world percussion instruments.

Featuring music of glass harmonica virtuoso Jonny Rodgers, avant-bluegrass guitarist Jordan Tice (The Jordan Tice Trio), and the singular percussionist Mathias Kunzli, currently on tour with Regina Spektor. This will take place on Colonels' Row tonight, September 3rd.

Renowned saxophonist, composer and bandleader Paul Winter, long known for his pioneering fusion of jazz, world music, and natural sounds of the Earth, returns to New York City in December for a truly special holiday season of performances featuring his debut at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on December 6, as well as his latest offering in the over 30-year tradition of Winter Solstice Celebrations at the Cathedral of St. John from December 15 through 17.
