The Little Foxes - L.A. Theatre Works opens its 2018-19 season at UCLA's James Bridges Theater with Lillian Hellman's modern classic about a wealthy Southern family and the greed that tears them apart. Mamie Gummer (HBO's True Detective, CW's Emily Owens, M.D) stars as Regina Giddens, whose dying husband (Jared Harris, of The Crown and Mad Men) is determined to leave her nothing, while her brothers Ben (Tim DeKay of HBO's Here and Now, ABC's American Crime, USA's White Collar) and Oscar (Jamie Harris of Turn: Washington's Spies on AMC, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) have inherited all their father's wealth. It will take every ounce of her ruthless charm to outwit her relations and assure herself a gilded future. Also starring Molly C. Quinn (Castle) as Regina's daughter, Alexandra; Heidi Dippold; Larry Powell; Albie Selznick; and Karen Malina White.

L.A. Theatre Works is set to record a stage adaptation of Moss Hart's 'Act One' for radio broadcast and online download, featuring Jane Kaczmarek as Aunt Kate. Performances run April 27-30 at UCLA's James Bridges Theater.

ComicCon, the media-saturated annual juggernaut of promotion and sci-fi excess that puts celebrities and their costumed super-fans together in the same breathing space is the setting for playwright Eliza Clark's engaging new play FUTURE THINKING, now having its world premiere performances at Orange County's South Coast Repertory Theater in Costa Mesa through April 24, 2016. Directed by Lila Neugebauer, this modern day play offers a fresh story that explores how many of us strive for an ideal future that's both a mix of fantasy and reality, and that, at times, these two forces are often at odds with each other as we barrel towards what lies ahead.

This reprisal of this classic is a successful hybrid of radio play and stage production that unfailingly delivers the best of both genres.

Queens Theatre (QT) presents the L.A. Theatre Works production of THE GRADUATE, based on the 1963 'age of youth' novel and the classic 1967 Oscar-winning film, adapted for the stage by Terry Johnson. This year's main-stage attraction of SCR's annual Pacific Playwrights Festival, SMOKEFALL---a co-production with Chicago's Goodman Theatre directed by Anne Kauffman---starts off initially intriguing, as if first unveiling itself as a dark dramedy that follows three generations of an eccentric family living in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the tolls that the passage of time imposes on their lives. But instead, what actually transpires through the course of its three acts is an uneven play that ultimately gets too bogged down in its own randomly structured quirkiness.

In three short acts, Noah Haidle's play 'Smokefall' tells the story of three generations of a middle-American family that lives in Grand Rapids, Mich. South Coast Repertory presents the world premiere of Noah Haidle's Smokefall, a co-production with Goodman Theatre in Chicago, directed by Obie Award-winning director Anne Kauffman. South Coast Repertory will open its 2009-2010 season with a celebration of the music of Broadway legend Stephen Sondheim and will shine the spotlight later in the season on the up-and-coming musical theater composer and lyricist, Adam Gwon. The season lineup includes World Premieres by Bathsheba Doran, Julie Marie Myatt and Howard Korder, and a West Coast Premiere by Noah Haidle.
