The production is scheduled to begin previews tomorrow night, March 20 and will open on Thursday, April 17 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Gregg Edelman and Penny Fuller to Join Kate Baldwin in Berkshire's A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC this Summer

Berkshire Theatre Group has announced additional casting for A Little Night Music. Four-time Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk Award winner Gregg Edelman will play the role of Fredrik Egerman and Emmy Award winner and two-time Tony Award nominee Penny Fuller will play the role of Madame Armfeldt for BTG's 2014 summer musical. Ethan Heard, who directed BTG's 2013 hit murder mystery The Cat and the Canary, will direct Stephen Sondheim's award-winning musical which also features Tony Award and Drama Desk nominee Kate Baldwin, internationally-acclaimed vocalist and actress Maureen O'Flynn, and Broadway and television actor Graham Rowat.

'I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti' is now onstage at George Street Playhouse (GSP) in New Brunswick through April 6th. This one-woman show stars Antoinette LaVecchia in the role of Giulia. As she cooks a three course meal, live on stage, she recounts stories about the men in her life and the meals that she made for them.

Gerard Alessandrini's Forbidden Broadway returned to New York in February at the newly refurbished Davenport Theatre (354 W. 45th Street, Between 8th and 9th Avenues) with Forbidden Broadway: Alive and STILL Kicking. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, over the course of the spring, Alessandrini had planned on adding new material to reflect the season's openings. Now, the time as come to unveil the new edition, FORBIDDEN BROADWAY COMES OUT SWINGING! According to The New York Times, this version will begin performances March 17.

Playwrights Theatre has partnered with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts for two months of Artist Fellowship Showcases in Madison. The first group was presented in October 2013 and the second group will take place todays in March 2014. All readings will begin at 7:30pm in the Chase Room of the Madison Public Library on 39 Keep Street in Madison, NJ. Readings are free with a suggested donation of $10. All tickets will be available at the door on the evening of the readings.

Playwrights Theatre and NJ State Council on the Arts to Present Writings from Residents of Greenfields Community Home Tonight

Playwrights Theatre has partnered with the New Jersey State Council on the Arts for two Writings from the residents of the Greenfields Residential Community Home in Ringwood, NJ, the results of a 10-week workshop conducted for the Playwright Discovery Program of Very Special Arts in Washington, DC. Playwrights Theatre provided a playwriting and creative writing residency at Greenfield's Residential Center which houses 32 incarcerated boys ages 13-16. During the 24-session residency, master teaching artists Dominique Cieri and Horace Jackson fostered group collaboration through writing, movement and visual arts dramatizing the participant's perspectives on their lives creating two theatrical performance pieces. As this residency comes to a close, there will be a presentation for family, friends and the public of the young men's work, and a documentation of their creative writing will be produced in an anthology.
