The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel has announced the Cafe Carlyle's spring 2015 season, which will feature some of Broadway's biggest stars, including the venue debuts of Alan Cumming and Lena Hall, and the highly anticipated return of Megan Hilty. The season will also feature new shows by audience favorites Judy Collins and John Pizzarelli with Daniel Jobim. More artists to be announced soon.

On Wednesday, March 11, the fourth anniversary of the earthquake and tsunami that devastated portions of Japan in 2011, the Young People's Chorus of New York City conducted by Elizabeth Nuñez will join with other choruses from New York City and Japan to commemorate the date in a free concert in Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall. The 8 p.m. concert is presented by the Japan Artists Exchange Agency.

Today in 1992, Crazy for You opened at the Shubert Theatre, where it ran for 1622 performances. Crazy for You is a musical with a book by Ken Ludwig, lyrics by Ira Gershwin, and music by George Gershwin. Billed as 'The New Gershwin Musical Comedy', it is largely based on the songwriting team's 1930 musical, Girl Crazy, but interpolates songs from several other productions as well. Crazy for You won the 1992 Tony Award for Best Musical. The Broadway production was directed by Mike Ockrent and choreographed by Susan Stroman.The cast included Jodi Benson as Polly, Harry Groener as Bobby Child, Bruce Adler as Bela Zangler, John Hillner as Lank Hawkins, Michele Pawk as Irene Roth, Jane Connell as Mother, and Beth Leavel as Tess.
