Prepare to be dazzled. Acclaimed pianist Thomas Pandolfi returns to the Bickford Theatre at the Morris Museum on Sunday, November 29 at 2:00PM for a performance of 'Chopin: Shaken, Not Stirred.'

Broadway's critically-acclaimed musical A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN, a music-filled live show celebrating Janis Joplin and her biggest musical influences, will bring its national tour to Nashville, performing at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center's James K. Polk Theater on April 15-16, 2016.

Continuing to bring original musical stories and new productions to beloved Chicago audiences, 'Hershey Felder Presents' (George Gershwin Alone, Maestro Bernstein, The Pianist of Willesden Lane, Louis and Keely 'Live' at the Sahara) now brings BARITONES UNBOUND, a new play with music and baritone superstars to the Royal George Theatre as part of a continuing season of new productions. Performances begin at the Royal George, 1641 N. Halsted Street, on Friday, December 11th, 2015 and continue through Sunday, January 3rd, 2016 with a press opening on Sunday, December 13th at 3:00 p.m. A special New Year's Eve performance includes a champagne and dessert reception with the artists.

Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA (EVUSA), one of New York's preeminent choral ensembles, will present SING CHRISTMAS, a sing-along of traditional carols and holiday songs by Broadway's finest, on December 3 at 9:30pm at Feinstein's / 54 Below.

Nevada Ballet Theatre (NBT) is proud to present A Balanchine Celebrationas the Company's opening performance at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts for its 2015-2016 season. Each piece will be accompanied by a full orchestra featuring members of the Las Vegas Philharmonic, under the direction of guest conductor, Leif Bjaland. Visionary director Julie Taymor curates and hosts the first National Sawdust+ concert tonight, November 6 at 7:30pm. MADE IN BROOKLYN, an evening inspired by that artistically fertile corner of New York City, will feature music by Brooklyn-born composers including the great George Gershwin and Oscar-winners Aaron Copland, John Corigliano and Elliot Goldenthal. The concert will feature the world concert premiere of Goldenthal's String Quartet No. 1 'The Stone Cutters' performed by Flux Quartet, the 'Chaconne' from Corigliano's Academy Award-winning score for The Red Violin, performed by Tim Fain & Stephen Gosling, and much more.

Washington, D.C.'s beloved musicologist, humorist and jazz pianist extraordinaire, John Eaton, will share the history and harmonies of some favorite seasonal songs from the American Songbook at a special "Holiday Spectacular" at The Alden in McLean.

These two legends, YOSSELE ROSENBLATT and GEORGE GERSHWIN, come from entirely different musical worlds. And yet they both became larger than life in the culturally exploding 1910s and 1920s. Rosenblatt made even the non-Jewish world become fans of 'Chazzanus', while Gershwin brought Tin Pan Alley into the concert hall and gave us some of the most beautiful songs of all time.

Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre, professional Theatre in Residence at Oakes Center in Summit, presents the cabaret The Great American Songbook on Friday, November 20 through Sunday, November 22.

The Ruth Page Civic Ballet is proud to present its annual production of The Nutcracker, choreographed by Ruth Page and co-directed by Victor Alexander and Dolores Lipinski Long. This production, celebrating its 50th anniversary this holiday season, will be performed at Northeastern Illinois University, 3701 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue in Chicago, Saturday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 6 at 1 and 5 p.m. and at the Ravinia Festival, 200 Ravinia Park Road in Highland Park Dec 13 at 3 and 6 p.m. Tickets for NEIU are $25 for general admission, $20 for seniors and children under the age of 12 and $10 for NEIU students, faculty and staff, one ticket per I.D. card. The Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook Terrace will present HAZEL, based on the character from the Saturday Evening Post comic strip, and the 1960's TV comedy series starring Shirley Booth.
