After two resoundingly successful seasons, the WA Concert Series is expanding its offerings this year. Seven concerts, led by renowned clarinetist Charles Neidich, are slated to take place at the Tenri Cultural Institute,

Combining the political with the poetic, William Kentridge will animate Park Avenue Armory's Wade Thompson Drill Hall with a grand, multidisciplinary work commemorating the millions of Africans who served in World War I. Co-commissioned by Park Avenue Armory, 14-18 NOW Centenary Commissions, MASS MoCA, and the Ruhrtriennale, with additional support from the Holland Festival, The Head & The Load combines music and movement, sculpture and shadow play to critically examine colonialism and how somber remnants of history continue to color our experiences today.

Celebrating their 45th anniversaries in residence in Ocean Grove, tenor Ronald Naldi and organist Gordon Turk will each perform with the MidAtlantic Orchestra, Jason Tramm, and conductor. Mr. Naldi will sing favorite operatic arias by Puccini, Leoncavallo, and Ponchielli. Dr Turk will open the program with the Concerto in A Minor by Marco Enrico Bossi and later plat the grand Symphony No. 1 by Alexander Guilmant for organ and orchestra, both accompanied by the MidAtlantic Opera Orchestra conducted by Jason Tramm.

The stars align on August 2nd at the Ocean Grove Great Auditorium for an evening of spectacular music making as noted American conductor Jason C. Tramm leads the 65-member MidAtlantic Opera Orchestra, Metropolitan Opera tenor Ronald Naldi, and renown musician soloists, organist Gordon Turk and violinist Byung Kook Kwak in a concert which promises to be nothing less than stellar. 'Grand Orchestra Finale' concludes the acclaimed Ocean Grove classical concert series 'Summer Stars' which runs throughout July and early August with its traditional orchestral show stopper.

'The Rhythm of Life,' 'I'm in the Mood for Love' and 'I Won't Dance' are just three of many popular songs with lyrics written by the incomparable Dorothy Fields. The award-winning Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company is presenting a world premiere musical revue, 'On the Sunny Side of the Street,' the title taken from another Field's hit. After the show on Friday, June 22, the audience has the opportunity to ask questions of the cast and creative team.

Bostonians will have another reason to welcome autumn along the Charles River when the Celebrity Series of Boston presents Jazz Along the Charles: A Walkable Concert. After receiving close to 100 applications, a selection committee comprised of educators, administrators and performers from Boston's thriving jazz scene has chosen 25 ensembles to perform at a series of connected, walkable locations along the Charles River Esplanade, interpreting the same curated list of Boston-related tunes in one collective free concert.

The Celebrity Series of Boston welcomes jazz vocalist Jazzmeia Horn to kick off its fourth annual Stave Sessions, the unique concert series showcasing the innovative, the experimental, and the collaborative approaches of emerging artists. It would be difficult to find a musician more well-rounded than Norwegian violinist Henning Kraggerud. The Scandinavian virtuoso is famed for his extraordinary reach as an artist, with a career that spans across performer, artistic director, composer, arranger and improviser - an approach that recalls the style of early 20th-century icons, including Fritz Kreisler and Eugene Ysaye.

On Sunday, March 19 at 4 pm, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra showcases violinist Philippe Graffin at its Restless Romantics concert conducted by Christopher Lyndon-Gee.
