Dato Lee Choong Yan, president and chief operating officer of Genting Malaysia Berhad and Jeffrey Godsick, president of Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products participated in a signing event solidifying the partnership between Genting Malaysia Berhad and Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products. The alliance was witnessed by Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, chairman and chief executive officer of Genting Malaysia Berhad.

20th Century Fox has formed a joint venture with top Broadway producer and Tony Award winner Kevin McCollum (Motown, Rent, Avenue Q, In the Heights), prolific film producer John Davis (Predator, The Firm, Grumpy Old Men, I Robot, Chronicle) and leading industry executive Tom McGrath, to develop live stage productions based upon the studio's vast library of films.

Beyoncé, one of the most widely recognized and highly respected women in pop culture, has created an original song, “RISE UP” for the upcoming Twentieth Century Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios motion picture, EPIC, for which she also voices one of the lead characters. The song, performed by Beyoncé, is written by Beyoncé and Sia and produced by Hit-Boy and Chase N. Cashe. The track will be released by Columbia Records.

Today the Los Angeles Film Festival, presented by Film Independent, in conjunction with Presenting Media Sponsor the Los Angeles Times and Host Partner L.A. LIVE, announced its official US and international selections. It opens with a personal appearance by the director at a preview screening of his latest film, Stoker-his first English language picture-which stars Mia Wasikowska and Nicole Kidman, and is being released by Fox Searchlight Pictures in theaters nationwide on March 1.

Daniel Evans presents the world premiere of a new stage play version of The Full Monty which Oscar-winning writer Simon Beaufoy, who wrote the screenplay, has adapted for the stage using songs from the film. This announcement realises a long held ambition for Evans who on his appointment as Artistic Director wanted to bring The Full Monty home to Sheffield. The production will be presented at the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield from today 1 - Saturday 23 February 2013.
