Deadline reports that Brandon T. Jackson has been cast in the lead role of the upcoming Sony-TV reboot of Eddie Murphy's BEVERLY HILLS COP. The project will be executive produced by Murphy and Shawn Ryan and has already secured a pilot production commitment. Ryan will pen the script.

Stand-up comedian Brandon T. Jackson has officially been cast in CBS' reboot of BEVERLY HILLS COP, Deadline reported tonight. It's rumored that Eddie Murphy, the star of the BEVERLY HILLS COP film, recommended Jackson.

DreamWorks Animation's "SHREK THE HALLS, a half-hour of entertainment starring America's favorite ogre and his friends and featuring the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas. "Shrek the Halls" airs TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 27 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
