TIME Magazine's #1 Show of the Year, MATILDA THE MUSICAL, is coming to Wharton Center as part of the MSUFCU Broadway at Wharton Center series. Produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Dodgers, the first national tour of MATILDA THE MUSICAL will be featured on Tuesday, April 19 - Sunday, April 24, 2016 in Cobb Great Hall. Tickets to see MATILDA THE MUSICAL go on sale Monday, September 28.

Based on the promotion of their new duo show, Revolution (a four-show run that ends at the Duplex tonight at 6:30), you might have gotten the impression that Dawn Derow and Kathleen France would be engaging in a zany bit of fluff poking fun at American military politics in a Bob Hope USO Show kinda way. But while there is definitely some frivolity and even some biting satire along the way, the women also convey a serious sense of patriotism and reverence for those who have fought and died in America's many wars. In fact, a portion of the audience cover charge is being donated to the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriourproject.org).

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) has announced that its 2014 Spring Gala will honor Tony Award-winning director Des McAnuff and President of The Dodgers Michael David. Both are founding partners of Dodger Properties, which is responsible for over 150 productions of some of the most successful theatre on Broadway (56 Tony Awards), Off-Broadway and internationally. Intermedia to Acquire Telanetix

Intermedia, a global leader in cloud services and the world's largest third-party Microsoft Exchange hosting provider, and Telanetix, Inc. (OTCQB:TNIX) (or "Telanetix" doing business as AccessLine™), a leading provider of cloud-based communications solutions, announced today that they have entered into a definitive merger agreement under which Intermedia will acquire Telanetix. The aggregate consideration to be paid by Intermedia will equal approximately $55 million, which amount includes the assumption of approximately $13 million in net debt and certain liabilities, and is subject to reduction for potential purchase price adjustments. Subject to such potential purchase price adjustments, it is currently estimated that each Telanetix common shareholder owning shares immediately prior to the transaction would be entitled to receive approximately $7.40 per share in cash.
