Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee- Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director) has announced that the New Jersey Theater will tribute A Chorus Line composer Marvin Hamlisch at the official opening of the show tonight, October 7th at 7:00pm.

Tasti D-Lite has named a new flavor, "MISS BYRD'S RED VELVET D-LITE," to honor one of the best reviewed Off-Broadway shows of the year, Closer Than Ever with lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr. and music by David Shire. Legendary Broadway Music Director Darren Cohen signs on as Vocal Harmony Specialist and Music Director for The Youth Orchestra of the Low Country's 40th anniversary concert series kickoff performance 'Absolutely Andrew'. "Absolutely Andrew" is a musical tribute to legendary Broadway composer, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, that will feature pieces from each of his Broadway hits including 'Evita", 'Cats", and 'Phantom of the Opera".

Constructed in 1996 on the campus of The Community School of Naples, the intimate 250-seat G&L Theatre has a professional-quality sound and lighting systems, dressing rooms and costume area. The G&L is unique in its intimacy and that it offers a balcony composed entirely of opera box style seating and terraced seats that wrap around the front of the curved stage.

Directed by Jenn Thompson with music direction by Bryan Wade, Man with a Load of Mischief will play three performances only, today, October 1 at 3:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. and Tuesday, October 2 at 3:00 p.m. at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's. Casting will be announced shortly

Directed by Jenn Thompson with music direction by Bryan L. Wade, the cast will feature P.J. Benjamin (Wicked), Naomi Brockwell, Stephen R. Buntrock (A Little Night Music), Rachel de Benedet (Catch Me If You Can), Nancy Johnston (Elf) and Robert Petkoff (Anything Goes).

The York Theatre Company in association with Edward Negley, Neil Berg and Adam Friedson, will welcome James Moye (Dogfight, Million Dollar Quartet) to the cast of Closer Than Ever with Lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr. and Music by David Shire, filling in for George Dvorsky from September 25 - October 7, due to a prior commitment.

Beginning tonight, September 19th, Stephen Hanna will be the new Dream Hannibal in Off-Broadway's SILENCE! The Musical at the new Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square. The Elektra Theatre has been specially constructed to be the new home of SILENCE! and is located at 669 Eighth Avenue (at 42nd St.)

Kelly Bishop joins director Mitzi Hamilton along with Donna McKechnie and dozens of A Chorus Line cast members from 1975 through 1990. Directly following the curtain call, A Chorus Line Broadway alumni will join the Paper Mill Playhouse cast on stage as they reprise a section of the "Finale" in tribute to Mr. Hamlisch.
